We are very excited to announce that Lyn Brown will be returning as guest teacher at our
2nd Fall 2011 Quilting Retreat. Lyn will once again be designing an original quilt for the
retreat. She is currently working on the design. We will publish a picture of it as soon as
it's available. From previous experience, be assured, it will be a real winner. You will have a
choice of purchasing a kit or bringing your own fabric, either one will work.
For those of you that don't know Lyn, she teaches and lives in Orange County, CA. She
teaches at various locations, weekly, as a member of the faculty of the North Orange
County Community College District. In addition to her quilt classes, she designs quilts and
teaches and lectures at various guilds throughout the area. She hosts an active website/blog
which you can see at www.lynbrown.com
The retreat will be held Oct. 14-16, 2011 at the Ayres Hotel in Laguna Woods, California.
The hotel features deluxe guest rooms in a warm and elegant European Boutique hotel style.
The sewing room is spacious and comfortable and provides us with an ideal place to sew to
our hearts content.

The cost for the retreat is $365.00 which includes the following:
- 2 nights lodging (based on double occupancy)
- Dinner on Friday night
- Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday
- Lunch on Saturday
- Evening Beverage reception.
- Snacks provided throughout.
- Door prizes.
